All parade participants must submit the Liability Release. The forms can be downloaded from the Parades page and must be submitted to Shannon at least 2 days before the parade. Sunny will Notarize. Save the file to disk and then open it. SANT'YAGO ILLUMINATED KNIGHT PARADE HAS NEW ROUTE IN 2007! The annual Sant'Yago Illuminated Knight Parade marches down the streets of the Channelside and Ybor City entertainment districts on Saturday, February 16th beginning at 6:30 p.m. The illuminated beauty returns with new flavor in 2007 by adding the Channelside Entertainment District to the parade route! The parade will begin heading North on Channelside Drive at Meridian, crossing Adamo toward Nuccio Parkway, where it will then move East along 7th Avenue through Historic Ybor City and end at 22nd Street. Location, Location, Location Float position is position ?? <stay tuned>, somewhere on ???. The Official Parade Starting Point is near Channelside and Meridian. The Parade Disbanding area is near 7th Avenue and 24th Street in Ybor City. Parking - first choice is the 7th Avenue or Palm parking garage in Ybor City, second choice is a well lighted street in Ybor City Take the trolley back to the staging area in Channelside. Trolley fare is $2 one way. You'll still have to walk to the float, so bring wheels to carry your beads. Here's a map of Ybor with parking and trolley routes.
